This Ethiopian coffee is a welcome change of pace from the usual decaf coffee and decaffeinated using a mountain wash process.
Many Ethiopian coffees have a fruity, sometimes tart flavor which can be an unexpected delight. This decaf is no different from the usual Guji or Sidamo coffee we have carried before.
We think this coffee is pretty darn close to a standard fruity, sweet and mildly floral caffeinated Ethiopian coffee. You’ll also find a hint of lemon and dry fruit with a smooth, creamy finish.
If you’re looking for a lighter roasted, off the usual path decaf coffee or drink decaf and want to try something fruity with very few notes of decaf, give this coffee a shot.
This roast works best in a standard coffee maker (drip).
