Bolivia San Antonia Washed Processed (Dark Roast)

This washed processed coffee from Bolivia was an unintentional purchase that we were nonetheless excited to throw into our lineup in one of our dark roast slots.  Our friends at De La Finca coffee had this rummaging around in their inventory and accidentally let a few bags of Nicaraguan coffee go that we intended to buy for some blends.

While we have featured Bolivian coffees in our coffee club program, we have never sold a single origin Bolivian coffee in our normal rotating lineup.  These coffees tend to feature a profile that has hints of coffee from Peru, Costa Rica and Guatemala.  These coffees are always easy drinkers and a fun change of pace.

We did a dark roast on this but not super dark to give it a bit of body and roasty notes without too much weight.  There is a caramel, cinnamon and sweet cocoa powder feel along with a touch of an apple note.  The coffee has a silky, smooth and easy finish.

Who will like this coffee

If you've found yourself enjoying some of our medium roast coffees from Peru or Costa Rica, you'll enjoy this coffee quite a bit.  It will be a bit darker than our medium roast options but with that extra roast level, you'll get a bit heftier and richer flavor.
