Costa Rica Santa Maria Washed (Medium Roast)

This washed processed coffee is comes from the Santa Maria, Dota region of Costa Rica and is a customer favorite whose arrival in our store typically arrives with the summer season.  Every year these Costa Rican coffees are top sellers and make for a great fit no matter your coffee preferences.  This is the 2024 season crop and we snagged a good number of bags of this coffee and should have it on sale through at least the fall season too.

This coffee has a lot of the conventional Costa Rican coffee flavors -- sweet, citrusy, honey and cinnamon notes with a buttery texture.  There's a pleasant milk chocolate and mild nutty tone and a low acidity.

WHERE THIS COFFEE WORKS

Medium roast drinkers will love this coffee without exception.  It's easy on the stomach, has a lightness to it without being too bright and makes for an excellent, easy, daily drinker.  Even if you normally go for light or darks though, you'll find something to love about it too.
