This honey processed coffee is comes from the Nyungwe region of Rwanda.  We've had Rwandan coffees a few times over the years but never a honey processed coffee.  A Rwandan coffee will be a good option for light roast curious folks along with African coffee fans for their mildly fruity, approachable yet still complex flavors and a lower acidity than other African options.

Coffee from Rwanda borrows some flavor notes from fruit-forward Ethiopian coffees.  This coffee has a raspberry, melon and milk chocolate taste with a touch of lemon notes.  This coffee happens to be a honey processed coffee which will add a layer of sweetness and complexity and tone down the acidity a bit too.

On balance, this coffee has a balanced set of flavors with a round finish that is both complex but easy to drink.
